Once again, The Swallows are pleased to offer this exciting competition this coming summer. This time it is based upon the Women’s World Cup 2023. It follows the same format as the very successful and enjoyable Euros and World Cup competitions which we held previously. You can select your own entries, based upon your football knowledge, or request a computer-generated random entry.

We hope that you will want to take part and will encourage your friends and family to participate too. Don’t forget that you can have a Group Leader Board (a ‘League Table’ of at least ten entries from your friends and family). Your own individual entries can be on as many Group Leader Boards as you wish. Ask for details.

There will be two windows for entries to be submitted, the first of which will be the PRIORITY WINDOW and will open on 27^th May and close on 18^th June. This will be for those who pre-registered at, or after, the end of the last competition. Full details will be emailed nearer to the time. The window for other entries will be preceded by wider publicity and run from 7^th July to 18^th July (subject to availability). The tournament itself runs from 20^th July and entrants will receive regular updates throughout. Entries cost just £5 each, and every penny is donated to The Swallows.

You will need to select eleven of the thirty-two teams that are involved and will then score points according to their performance. Daily ‘Leader Boards’ will be emailed out so that you can keep track of your performance. But you can’t just pick the best eleven…

We know that not everyone is a football fan, so our computer can generate random entries. Just donate and send us an email. We also know that aficionados will want to select their own teams.
