This is the best CL site that we have ever been to, the owners have obviously spent alot of time and effort getting this site to such a high standard, they seem to have thought of everything, great hardstanding, good space between units, a fantastic welcome, with detailed information pack on arrival, the owners are really friendly and approachable, there is a great local walk around the river, we also hired a car from the local rental dealer to give us some great days out, I can especially recommend Rutland Water, the thing I don't understand is why it was so quiet, I thought a site like this would be packed all the time, but it wasn't , we had most of the site to ourselves all week, a great CL in a beautiful area.  A & S 2019

Keal Lodge, what a fabulous Certificated Location. We planned to stay three nights and stayed eight nights as it was so lovely. Alison and Keith were great hosts and very helpful. The site is immaculate and well cared for with a lot of thought to help guests enjoy their stay such as a comprehensive 'Welcome Pack'. We had a fantastic stay enjoying the peaceful site and also exploring the many places to visit. The site was very 'dog friendly' with an abundance of walks nearby, a riverside walk from the site and even a huge field on site being the 'dog walk'. We are already planning a return visit, thank you Keith and Alison for a wonderful holiday, the best CL that we ever stayed at in ten years.  C & K 2019

From the booking made on the phone to our departure the whole experience and stay was fantastic. We downloaded the route given on the website for the best way to get to the site and they were very clear and precise. A warm welcome on our arrival and we were really impressed with the layout and condition of every aspect of the site, each of the 5 pitches had EHU, grey and drinking water with free WiFi thrown in. With the central layout of the services each pitch was very very private which made for a very relaxing stay. We took some walk from the Information room and enjoyed the lovely local village and river. No wonder this site has got so many awards.....Yes it's £20 but as in life, you get what you pay for. WONDERFUL !!!!!!!!!!  C & V 2019

Our first visit, and will not be the last! We booked after recommendation from my sister, booking was easy, one phone call a few questions and deposit paid, The owner was very pleasant on the phone and this followed through our stay. The day before our arrival I received a courtesy call informing me that they wouldn't be there to greet us due to a prior commitment, however, their daughter would be there. I thought it was lovely that they took the time to inform us. on arrival we met with Helen the owners' daughter, we sorted payment and an information pack was given to us not just about the facilities but surrounding area, things to do places to visit etc. The pitches are excellent and of very high standard! I would say one of the best CL sites. The whole ease of setting up was due to it being well thought out. The pitches are of very high standard. The privacy of each pitch is a very welcome change and we were thankful for that. We saw the owner a few times but not once did they trouble us, obviously he asked if everything was OK for us. If you need a site with excellent facilities this is the one to choose. The place is immaculate. DO NOT USE THE SAT NAV, follow the well detailed directions on their website and you will get there no bother. Had lovely stay 4 night stay, loved it.  S 2019

We were looking for a relaxing break in the Peterborough area so that we could both do some sightseeing and visit family in south Lincolnshire. Having looked at various sites, including the Caravan Club's own site at Ferry Meadows we decided to try Keal Lodge, based mainly on the very positive reviews. We were not disappointed. Everything about our visit went smoothly, even when wanting to change our arrival and departure dates at the last minute, and nothing was too much trouble for our wonderful hosts, Alison and Keith. We have stayed at a number of CLs over the last few years, some good, some not so, but they have introduced and implemented so many good ideas (for example the Information handbook that every caravanner or motorhomer gets to use for the duration of their stay) that we felt anyone who either currently runs or is thinking of setting up a CL should visit here to see what can be achieved. The site was superbly maintained, (note there is no shower block or toilet, so you will need to use your own facilities) with level hard-standing fully serviced pitches. Access from the main roads is good as long as you follow their directions as the local town of Deeping St. James has some narrow streets with sharp bends. All in all, a lovely few days (even with the very strong winds we had). Thank you.  L & G 2018
