COVID SECURE PROCEDURES AND GUIDANCE
Here at Keal Lodge we have changed some of our processes and procedures to ensure we keep our customers and ourselves safe whilst you stay with us.
Please bear with us as some elements may take slightly longer than usual due to COVID Secure protocols, this will ensure our safety and you continue to enjoy your stay with us.
Arriving on site
We aim to provide a minimal contact arrival and departure process wherever possible, therefore we would prefer payments to be made by bank transfer.
On arrival, one person from each unit to walk down Keal Lodge drive to office. Please ring doorbell to notify us you have arrived. Check in to take place outside whenever possible, an envelope with your access fob for the caravan site gate, Wi-Fi code and information sheet will be ready for you. We will not be handing out our information packs at the present time.
We will direct you to your pre allocated pitch and leave you to set up.
Our pitches have at least 2m distancing between them, so we already have social distancing in place.
Your pitch has its own tap, electric hook up and waste drain. These will have been thoroughly sanitised prior to your arrival. Remember to wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds during your stay.
Waste disposal area / Information room
Our waste disposal area will be limited to use by one family at a time to meet social distancing requirements. We have installed disinfectant sprays and sanitising units at the communal emptying points and would urge visitors to use these both before and after using the facility. Remember to wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds during your stay.
Please ensure if you are queueing for these areas that social distancing of 2m is maintained.
Our information room is closed at the present time, we have placed some useful information in the windows of the room for you to view. Please ensure only one family group views the information at any one time and that 2m social distancing is observed if you are waiting.
A telephone/email ‘order and collect’ service is available for shop items e.g. gas, chemicals, fresh water kits and extension kits etc. Please collect from outside reception once notified your order is ready to collect.
What if I’m unwell on site?
We really hope this doesn’t happen but if you’re staying on site and feel unwell please follow the guidance below:
Please leave your access fob in the letterbox at the caravan site gate on departure. We will retrieve the keys and ensure they are sanitised appropriately for our next guest.
Doing your bit on site
As the saying goes, ‘we are all in this together’ and by respecting each other and the guidance provided by the Government we can all stay safe and well.
What if I develop symptoms between booking and arrival?
If you develop any Covid related symptoms please look after yourself, self-isolate and, of course, cancel your booking. We will look forward to seeing you when you and your family are fit and well!
